Daybreak to produce videos for disability awareness

Daybreak TV Productions has received a grant from the Vincent and Harriet Palisano Foundation to produce disability inclusion videos. Working with the Diocesan Disabilities Action Team of the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation, Daybreak aims to assist parishes in their outreach to those with disabilities.

The focus of the videos will be on how to include, and welcome people of all abilities into parishes and faith communities. Examples of sharing in the celebration of Mass, sacraments, and religious instruction will highlight the “out of box” thinking already present in many parishes.

The Vincent and Harriet Palisano foundation has also provided grants for other Daybreak programs including “St. Joseph Cathedral”, “Drop with Faith”, “Legacy of Victory: Remembering Fr. Baker”, “ProjecTruth”.
