Trish McHenry (Producer/Writer)
Employed in the high-pressure television news business for 15 years, Trish was originally a resident of Williamsville, N.Y. Within a year of her graduation from the University of North Carolina, she was hired by CNN in an "entry level position" and worked her way up to a supervising producer. During her tenure, she was producer and writer for "People Count," a documentary series aired on CNN and TBS. She also was supervising producer at CNN Headline News. Trish has volunteered with Literacy Volunteers of America of Metropolitan Atlanta and The Turner Foundation. She joined the Daybreak staff as a producer in May 2001.
Timothy R. Allan, Ph.D. (Historical Advisor/Research Consultant)
Tim is a professor of history and social studies at Trocaire College, Buffalo, N.Y., and a visiting assistant professor of history at State University of New York College at Fredonia. He holds degrees from John Carroll University, Cleveland; Christ the King Seminary, East Aurora, N.Y.; and the State University of New York at Buffalo. His scholarly interests are in American religious and social history. He has a long-standing interest in Monsignor Nelson H. Baker and his social ministries. Tim wrote the "Ambient Biography" of Father Baker for the cause for Father Baker’s canonization and is involved in helping to develop an on-site archive of Baker-related materials at Our Lady of Victory Shrine.
Bernadette Harpe Vandenbergh (Narrator)
A resident of Cheektowaga, N.Y., Bernadette’s credits include radio spots for the Diocesan Cemeteries, Sisters of Charity Hospital, Amberleigh Retirement Community and Empire Sports Network. She also recorded narration for art in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s permanent collection. In addition to voice-over work, Bernadette is actively involved in singing and musical theater. She has performed at the Lancaster Opera House, Kleinhans Music Hall and the Variety Club Telethon, as well as venues in Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco and Atlantic City, N.J. She is a member of the Amherst (N.Y.) Glee Club.
Bob Volkman (Original Music)
This is the second original score that Bob has produced for Daybreak TV Productions. In 2000, he produced the score for the award-winning production of "Enduring Faith" that was aired nationally on PBS. He has developed a multi-faceted career in music including composing, recording and live performance. He is also the organist/music director for Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Clarence, N.Y. A composer for almost two decades, his other credits include "Buffalo’s Houses of Worship" and "The Pan American Experience," both for WNED-TV; "Fading in the Mist," an independently produced film; and over a dozen Studio Arena Theatre productions, "Sleuth" being the most recent. He is also credited with several CDs encompassing various styles of music.
