Daybreak TV wins six national awards

The Videographer Award
Two Our Daily Bread half hour cooking shows won awards in humor and miscellaneous categories. Our Daily Bread can be seen locally on WKBW-TV Ch.7 and across much of the northeast United States through CTV and NET.
 

Making a Difference is an eight-minute program that demonstrates the value of Catholic schools through the brief interviews with students and teachers, offering a glimpse into what lasting impact such an education can have. Making a Difference won in the Education Institutions category.
 
ProjecTruth is a short video about abstinence until marriage. Daybreak was commissioned by ProjecTruth of Catholic Charities to produce the video to be used as an educational tool at schools. The video was funded by a grant from the Vincent and Harriet Palisano foundation. ProjecTruth won the top award from the Communicator Awards in the Health and Wellness category.
 
Fr. Joe Bayne- The Year for Priests is a short biographical piece on Fr. Joe’s priesthood and is one of Daybreak’s biggest hits on their youtube page. It won the Bronze Telly Award in the Religious/Spirituality category.
 
The Gabriel AwardThe Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. Judging for The Videographer Awards was done this year by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).  AMCP is a third party evaluator of creative work by marketing and communication professionals and has been judging competitions for over a decade.  AMCP judges are chosen based on their extensive experience and proven creativity in the video field. http://www.videographerawards.com/

The Telly AwardThe Telly Awards was founded in 1978 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable TV commercials. Non-broadcast video and TV program categories were soon added.
